Sustainable Design with Clever Functionality
The Ecco Suitcase project was driven by our commitment to creating the most environmentally responsible luggage option possible. Beyond utilizing recycled materials throughout its construction, we focused on innovative design elements that enhance functionality and sustainability in tandem.
A key feature is the integrated plastic belt. This serves not only as a subtle decorative element, referencing Rollink's familiar diamond texture, but also as a functional closure mechanism. Its unique structure allows the strap to fasten securely, eliminating the need for a separate belt that could be easily lost or require extra storage.
The rPC vacuum-formed main body, the rABS textured injected parts and the RPET interior lining & gusset underscore our dedication to minimizing environmental impact.
Furthermore, the inherent space-saving nature of Rollink's foldable design translates to significantly more efficient shipping, reducing the carbon footprint associated with distribution.
